"War is peace"

"war is peace", well isn't it a little odd to be using two words that are exactly the opposite. "war" which is violence and hate, and "peace" which is love and equality. it might seem rather strange at first but it does actually make sense. war brings peace, the reason why it does is because war is brutal and bloody and hated but in the end theres a conclusion, not necessarily good for both sides but a conclusion an end. Both sides either agree on who's right which doesn't happen often, or one side proves that they are stronger than the other. One way that war brings peace is that it makes people feel better that they accomplished something.Looking back at the book 1984 which is where doublethink is first introduced, the way the party controls the soceity is that they want them to have a common enemy in order to keep peace in oceania and keep all the people united. The party is manipulating their people which is making their job a lot easier when everyone has a common enemy and it stops war from coming into their society. which means that war is peace when your fighting with an enemy of a diffrent country like "eastasia" but when your fighting with someone on the same side as you it isnt peace. "War is peace".
